The Santa Cruz Shredder is designed to shred your material to the perfect fluffy consistency. A fluffy, not compacted grind is great for convection vaporizers because it exposes a lot of surface area to the heat while permitting more air flow.
Easy to Shred
The SCS is designed with ease of use in mind. Featuring a knurled grip, it grinds smoother than other grinders and will even shred through stems with no issues. The Santa Cruz Shredder also features rare earth magnets which helps keep the lid secured to the grinder so it won’t open unless you want it to. Featuring teeth that grind in both directions, you’ll spend less time grinding to get “fluffed to perfection” material.

The Santa Cruz Shredder is made in the USA, constructed out of aerospace grade aluminum and manufactured using CNC technology. The grinders are anodized which creates a harder surface which is resistant to scratches, thread damage and tooth damage.

This is an elite shredder. The spacings inside are correct and your product doesn’t get stuck in there at all hardly. 10 times better than my $10 Amazon shredder. Very fluffy. Perfect for a volcano.

I was excited to use this when it arrived. Put a few herbs in it. After a few turns, I opened it, and everything was stuck to the teeth. Has to scrape it out. Tried a different strain. Same thing. The shape of the teeth is the issue. They have groves in them that cause the herbs to stick. I have a traditional grinder with the teeth having a flat surface. The same herbs do not stick to the teeth. Save your money. The claim that it grinds it more ‘fluffy’ is just marketing. It's a waste of my money. It will cost more to ship back - I guess I'm stuck with it.

Even though the machining is detailed all the product gets stuck in the teeth compared to my 30$ grinder, not to mention the paint is horribly cheap. I usually clang the top with a plastic tool so the stuck product falls out (I have done this for 2 years in my Colorado crusher with no chips or dents, and looks flawless). This 50$ grinder seems like it was tossed around on the rocks after 1 day. I genuinely wonder how this grinder is so popular. I wish I could get my money back.
