Storz & Bickel don't release new vaporizers often, but when they do, it's worth paying attention. The Veazy is their most affordable portable yet, and at $249, it's the first time the brand has been this accessible. It also looks a lot like the Venty, with the same shape, same app, and same great vapor.
So the obvious question is: why spend $200 more for the Venty? Here's how they stack up.
Cut to the chase: Which should I get?
Get the Venty if:
- You want the best portable S&B makes
- You hate tight draws and want wide-open, effortless airflow
- You vape every day and need long battery life
- You want fast heat-up and simple on-device controls
- You want a vape that just works, every time
Get the Veazy if:
- The $449 Venty price tag is out of reach
- You're new to S&B and want in without the full commitment
- You need something ultra-pocketable for on-the-go use
- You prefer a simpler, single-button experience
- You want classic S&B vapor at the most accessible price the brand has ever offered
Quick Summary
Similarities
Both the Venty and Veazy are Storz & Bickel portables built on the same foundation. Vapor quality is excellent on both, with hybrid heating that delivers S&B’s experience, and neither cuts corners on build quality. They share the same bowl size, the same Bluetooth web app, and USB-C charging.
Differences
The differences come down to how much you're willing to spend and how much that airflow matters to you. The Venty is the flagship with faster heat-up, longer battery, wide-open adjustable airflow, and fast charging. The Veazy trades those features for a lower price and a smaller, lighter form factor that fits where the Venty doesn't

What is the Venty vaporizer?
The Venty is Storz & Bickel’s flagship portable dry herb vaporizer. It builds on everything the Mighty+ does well and adds one defining feature: a wide-open, adjustable airflow slider that fundamentally changes how a portable vape feels to use.
S&B rates the Venty at up to 20 liters per minute of airflow, roughly double that of the Mighty+ vaporizer. An onboard sensor also reads your draw speed and adjusts the heater in real time. Draw slow and easy, or pull hard. The Venty meets you wherever you are. The name itself is a nod to that speed as well: “venty” is Italian for 20, and this vape is ready to hit in about 20 seconds.
At $449, it’s the most expensive portable in the S&B lineup. For daily users and anyone who values effortless draws, it’s consistently ranked as one of the best portable vaporizers on the market.

What is the Veazy vaporizer?
The Veazy is S&B’s most affordable portable dry herb vaporizer, coming in at $249. It’s shaped like a smaller Venty and delivers the same signature S&B vapor character, pls the same bowl size and same web app. Turn it on and choose a preset temperature with just a single button.
What it doesn’t have is the Venty’s airflow. The Veazy’s draw is more restricted, closer to the Crafty+ and Mighty+ than to the wide-open Venty. It’s got a great draw, and if you’ve never hit a Venty, you might not notice. But if you have, you’ll notice immediately.
The Veazy comes in four colors, black, blue, orange, and pink, is significantly lighter and more pocketable, and makes a strong case as an entry point into the S&B ecosystem. For new users, it’s excellent. For Venty owners, it’s a stripped-down, more portable alternative.

Both deliver high-quality vapor
Both vapes deliver the signature S&B experience: vapor that’s fluffy, comfortable, and consistently potent without the harsh bite. It’s the same medical-grade build philosophy and hybrid heating approach carried across the entire S&B lineup.
Side by side, most users won’t notice a meaningful difference in vapor quality. The Veazy’s cooling unit is smaller, which means vapor arrives slightly warmer, but on its own, it holds up just fine. During testing, a few people thought the Veazy had a slightly muted taste compared to the Venty, but it was a side-by-side observation that most wouldn’t notice in its own right.
Airflow: The Venty’s defining advantage
This is the heart of the comparison. If you’ve never hit a Venty, it’s hard to explain what wide-open adjustable airflow means in practice. If you have, you already know why this section matters.
The Venty has an airflow slider under the mouthpiece. At wide open, S&B rates it at 20 liters per minute. An onboard sensor reads your draw speed and adjusts the heater on the fly to maintain vapor quality, however you choose to hit it. Sip it slow or hit it hard and fast. The result is effortless. Dense, flavorful vapor with almost no resistance, and no special techniques required.
The Veazy doesn’t have this. Its airflow is fixed and more restricted, closer to what you’d expect from the Mighty+ or Crafty+, both of which were top leaders in the space at one point.
As Jerry noted in his Veazy review, it won’t replace anyone’s Venty. The Venty has something special with its wide-open airflow.
If airflow matters to you, this is the comparison that settles the question.
Venty is quick to heat up
The Venty is ready to hit in as little as 18 seconds and consistently hits the 20-second mark regardless of target temperature. From loading to first draw, the process is fast.
The Veazy takes longer. At the standard starting temp of 356°F, expect around 40 seconds. Across a full battery test at 383°F, heat-up times ranged from 38 to 59 seconds, with an average of 48 seconds, and heat-up slowed as the battery got lower.
Venty has better battery life
The Venty pulls ahead significantly. Expect 12–14 bowls per charge, which translates to roughly 90–100 hits.
The Veazy runs out faster. On the test bench at 383°F, it delivered 8 sessions, 77 hits, and 42 minutes of runtime per charge. For light or moderate users, that’s probably two days of use. For heavy users or anyone vaping regularly throughout the day, you’ll need to charge more often.
Battery life is one of the clearest differences between these two, and it’s felt across daily use.
Venty has fast charging
Both charge via USB-C, but the Venty supports fast charging. With the S&B Supercharger (sold separately), it goes from dead to full in under an hour. Run it down in the afternoon, and a short charge gets you back in action before the evening.
The Veazy doesn’t appear to support fast charging. With the same Supercharger, a full charge still takes about 90 minutes, which is standard, but not fast. If you need to top it off quickly between uses, the Venty has a real edge.
Both use the S&B web app
Both vapes connect to the S&B Bluetooth web app via any Bluetooth-enabled browser. The process is the same for both: navigate to app.storz-bickel.com, turn on your vape, connect, and you’ve got full temperature customization, boost settings, and device options. It works reliably on both iPhone and PC.
The Veazy’s on-device controls are minimal by design: one button, one light. Three preset temps (356/383/410°F) accessible with a double-click. One quirk worth noting: the two higher temps drop back to the lowest setting after 90 seconds of inactivity. The fix is easy. Enable “Permanent Boost” in the web app.
The Venty has a digital display and more on-device flexibility. For users who prefer to dial things in without reaching for a phone, the Venty gives you more to work with.
For app-first users, both vapes are equally capable. The web app experience is identical.
Veazy is more pocketable
The Veazy wins here. At 134g and 5.28” tall, it’s one of the lightest S&B portables ever made. It disappears into a front pocket, fits easily in a small bag, and doesn’t announce itself.
The Venty, at 252g and 6.18” tall, is nearly twice the weight and almost an inch taller. It’s still portable, slimmer than you’d expect for its height, but it doesn't go unnoticed in your pocket.
The Veazy’s portability is a real selling point. If you vape on the go or in situations where size and weight matter, the Veazy fits where the Venty doesn’t. It’s also where the Veazy earns its place alongside the Venty. These are two vapes for two different situations.
Price: The highs and lows of S&B
Venty: $449. Veazy: $249.
The Venty justifies its premium with better airflow, faster heat-up, longer battery life, and fast charging.
The Veazy brings S&B vapor to the most accessible price point the brand has ever offered for a portable. Great vapor and excellent build quality, without the Venty’s defining features. For first-time S&B buyers, casual users, or anyone who wants the S&B experience without the full price, $249 is the answer.

Conclusion
The Venty and Veazy look like siblings, but hit like different vapes.
The Veazy borrowed the Venty’s shape, its vapor character, and its app. What it doesn't have is the Venty’s airflow. That wide-open, adjustable draw is the feature that sets the Venty apart from every other portable on the market. No other vape has it.
If you’ve never hit a Venty, the Veazy is a genuinely great vape. Classic S&B quality, dead-simple controls, pocketable size, and a price that finally makes the S&B experience accessible. It’s a better buy than the Crafty+, and it’s the right place to start if you’re new to the brand.
If you’ve hit a Venty, the Veazy isn’t going to scratch the same itch. It’s not a mini-Venty, and it doesn’t hit like one. The $200 price gap reflects a real performance gap, mostly felt through that wide-open draw.
The Venty is the best portable vaporizer we carry. If it’s in your budget, get it. If it isn’t, the Veazy is an excellent place to start.
Veazy vs Venty: FAQs
Q: Is the Veazy a mini-Venty?
A: No. It looks like one, but it doesn’t hit like one. The airflow is more restricted and isn’t adjustable. It’s a closer comparison to the Crafty+ than to the Venty.
Q: Is the Venty worth $200 more than the Veazy?
A: For daily users who value effortless draws, faster heat-up, and longer battery life, yes. For casual users or those new to S&B, the Veazy might be the more attractive choice.
Q: Can the Veazy replace a Venty?
A: No. If you own a Venty, the Veazy isn’t a backup. It’s a different vape for different occasions. The airflow alone is reason enough to keep the Venty in reach.
Q: Do either of these vapes support concentrates?
A: Neither. Both are dry herb only. You can add a small amount of concentrate to a bowl of herb, but S&B recommends against concentrate use in both vapes.
Q: Which is better for travel?
A: The Veazy. At 134g and 5.28” tall, it’s meaningfully more pocketable than the Venty, and fits situations where the Venty’s extra size and weight matter.
Q: Does the Veazy have fast charging?
A: No. The Veazy charges via USB-C but doesn’t support fast charging. A full charge takes about 90 minutes, even with the S&B Supercharger. The Venty charges in under an hour.
