Used vapes; what are new open box and renewed vaporizers and why do you sell them?

At Planet of the Vapes, our mission is to provide users with a safer and healthier alternative to smoking in a responsible, eco-friendly way. Renewed and open box vaporizers help us achieve this, and here’s how:

We have an entire lineup of open-box and lightly used vapes that have been returned to us through our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. They work perfectly, so why toss them in a landfill? Instead, we’ve taken these vaporizers and renewed them through rigorous testing and a thorough cleaning process. Now we’re ready to share them with our customers at a discounted price!

What is a new open box vaporizer?

New open box vaporizers have never been used, but the seal has been broken and has been returned to us within 30 days of purchase. Each one has been tested and received our stamp of approval by our team of technicians before being made available for purchase.

What is a renewed complete box vaporizer?

Our renewed vaporizers are used vapes, though only very lightly as they have been returned to us through our 14-day satisfaction guarantee policy. Our technicians test each unit, thoroughly clean and sanitize them, and then repackage them for sale complete with everything you would receive when buying new including all the accessories! 

What is the difference between a new open box and a renewed complete box?

New open boxes have vapes that have been returned to us unused but without the shiny seal.  Renewed complete box vapes have been lightly used and returned to us within our 14-day satisfaction guarantee, and have been thoroughly tested, cleaned, and sterilized before we make these available for purchase. Both New Open Box and Renewed Complete Box vaporizers come complete with all the bells and whistles! 

How clean/what is the cleaning process of the renewed vaporizers?

Every renewed vaporizer & accessory in the box is put through a thorough cleaning process before we box it up and make it available for purchase. 

Metal and glass parts of the products including accessories are sanitized and sterilized,  followed by an ultrasonic clean with a rubbing alcohol solution. Then the parts are cleaned with a q-tip to remove any debris from the device/product. The parts are placed back into the ultrasonic cleaner for another session, and are then rinsed under running water, and dried. Any parts not sterilized in the ultrasonic cleaner, including the exterior of the device and the bowl, are sanitized and sterilized with isopropyl and compressed air is used to remove debris. New open box vaporizers don’t go through this process, as they have never been used. 

How do you determine your New open box vaporizers haven’t been used?

New open box vaporizers will go through both a visual and odor inspection by our technicians to ensure they have never been used. They will also verify that there are no residues or odors and confirm that they are fully functional and meet our standards for reselling. If the vaporizer shows signs of use, it will go through our deep clean process and will be listed as a renewed vape rather than a new open box. 

What is the return policy for new open box and renewed vaporizers?

Just like our warranty policy, you’ll receive the same quality of service, regardless of if you buy a renewed, open box, or new vaporizer.

All renewed and new open box vaporizers are still eligible for our 14-day satisfaction guarantee policy. Test it and make sure you like it or return it for an exchange, in-store credit, or a full refund if you are not fully satisfied. You can also return a renewed or open-box vaporizer within 30 days if they are unused and or unopened.

Do open box and renewed vaporizers come with a warranty service?

Of course! All renewed and open box vaporizers will come with a one-year warranty service which will be handled directly through us, Planet Of The Vapes.

What is the renewed vaporizer warranty service?

All renewed vaporizers will be backed by a one-year warranty service directly through Planet Of The Vapes. If we are unable to fix any issues, we’ll send you another renewed vaporizer replacement. If the refurbished replacement is unavailable, you can choose a refurbished vaporizer of equal value or receive a store credit for a new vaporizer.

What is the new open box vaporizer warranty service?

All open box vaporizers will be backed by a one-year warranty service directly through Planet Of The Vapes. If we are unable to fix any issues, we’ll send you another open box replacement. If the same replacement is unavailable, you can choose another open box vaporizer of equal value or receive a store credit for a new vaporizer.

Are the battery life of the renewed open box and renewed vaporizers the same as a new vape?

Yes! Our technicians will test all vaporizers on their battery life to guarantee the quality before being sold. The batteries are tested with a battery diagnostic machine that will ensure they meet the benchmark of quality to be resold. 

What comes with my new open box vaporizer?

All new open box vaporizers come with everything you’d expect from a brand new vaporizer, including our tightvac storage container!

Where do you get your new open box and renewed vaporizers?

Our new open box vaporizers are generally returned to us, unused, within 30 days, and have been verified by our technicians before reselling.Our renewed vaporizers have been returned to us, lightly used, through our 14-day satisfaction guarantee policy.  Each one has been tested, sanitized, and verified by our team of technicians to meet all of our high standards for reselling. 

What happens if my renewed or open-box vaporizer doesn’t work?

Please send our support team a message, and our vape experts will do their best to help troubleshoot the issue with you. If we can’t resolve the issue, and your vaporizer is within our 1-year warranty window, we will set you up for a warranty return/replacement.

Why is my order being split?

If you order a renewed or open box vaporizer and decide to add another product from our website such as an accessory or new vaporizer, your order will be shipped in two shipments. All renewed and open box vaporizers will be shipped from our warehouse in Indiana, and the remaining items will be shipped from one of our other warehouses. If your order is split into two shipments, you will receive an email with both of your tracking numbers. On the odds that you have any questions or concerns about this, please reach out to our customer care team and they will be more than happy to help.

Who can order renewed or open-box vaporizers?

Our new collection of vaporizers is only available for customers within the United States at this time. International customers will be unable to purchase our renewed or open-box collection but are still able to shop our brand new vaporizers and accessories. If we are able to offer this in the future, we will be sure to make an announcement.
