New Fall Colors
DynaVap has released a colorful line of 2020 M vaporizers for the 2020 Fall season. Fly under the radar with a familiar all-black Phantom M for a rugged, yet simplistic 2020 M. The upgraded Rosium color scheme features subtle flashes of golden flair that reveals itself with every twist and turn. The new Azurium M introduces a deep blue colorway into the DynaVap lineup that is a color-changing canvas for your lighter.
The 2020 DynaVap 'M'
True to form, DynaVap has updated the VapCap M for 2020, this time with some new features, a sparkly design, and a $5 price bump. In short, the 2020 M comes with a new tip design, the Captive Cap, Chiral airport, tapered mouthpiece, o-ring groove, and a new light-bending look.
Who's the DynaVap M for?
The VapCap M by DynaVap is perfect for anyone looking for a true one-hitter, manual vape with a practically indestructible build. Ready to vape off the grid, the simple design produces tasty, reliable vapor and never needs to charge.
The 2020 "M" now comes with an adjust-a-bowl tip that has two settings - 0.1 grams and 0.05 grams. The stainless steel bowl is surprisingly effective, even with so little. It's also quick to reload, so you can vape back-to-back bowls for bigger sessions.
The VapCap M is heated with a lighter putting you in full control. The ‘cap’ has an audible click to let you know you're at temperature and ready to vape. It's so simple, but effective, and takes the guess work out of lighter based vaporizers. Change what section of the cap you heat to give you different vaping temperatures, from 300° F to 450° F, so you’re in full control.
Check out our DynaVap Quick Start guide to learn more about getting started with your VapCap.
Fast as fire
The VapCap M heats up in five to ten seconds from a cold start, and even faster during a session.
Custom, tasty vapor
With the M’s manual heating, you’re in complete control of the vapor. Dial in a fast and light inhale, or a thick and heavy cloud, depending on where you heat the cap. With the small bowl size, every hit is full of flavor.
You can come back to the same bowl later, since the VapCap M does not heat your herb between inhales. The simple manual heating makes this one of the most efficient vapes we’ve come across.
No battery to charge
DynaVap vaporizers work with any heat source, but work best with a small torch lighter. No more worries about battery life, and "recharging" is as simple as refilling your lighter with butane.
The VapCap M is 3.5” long, which puts it high in the running for smallest vape ever. It comes with a plastic tube carrying case, so you can throw it back in your pocket even while it’s still hot, and the only other things you’ll need are a lighter and some herbs.

Strong title - admittedly my Sticky Brick Jr and POTV One will always have a place in my heart because they just led me to the Dynavap at the end of the day lol. I have reviews on both of those as well on their pages. The DYNAVAP tho. It's QUALITY. Its truly a Buy-It-For-Life-esque (esque because ya never know when you're gonna lose those O Rings - although to be fair there are people who've literally had their original O Rings for 5+ years) product. I cannot stress how much durability will pay off in the long run since the products of our hobby is comprised of glass. The glass on my Sticky Brick Jr was admittedly the original reason for me to come down with BAFVS (Buy-Another-Frickin'-Vape-Syndrome). My SBJ originally came with a broken mouth piece. No big deal, I reached out to POTV for a replacement and got it... only to break it again by accidentally dropping it from two feet onto carpeted floor. I have no doubt that as long as I don't lose it, it'll last me for the remainder of my life. VAPOR QUALITY is solid. One hit is truly all you need to get you zooted. I have vaped from this, a POTV One and a SBJ. I admit that my SBJ hits stronger, however, in the throws of routine and daily life you forget things - to clean the screens, to adjust your lighter to the perfect flame strength due to whatever variables (weather, fuel amount, fuel quality, torch build, etc). etc. So your hit quality varies a lot. For me, I noticed that I have to swap screens after 2 bowls, and I have to scrub the pathways, otherwise my hits change a lot. The Dynavap already doses out heavy hits, and on top of that, it's CONSISTENT. You will get reliable, punchy, terpy hits every time with the Dynavap. The SBJ no doubt belongs in most people's collections, however, you really need to dial in your kit and know it very well. I feel that I can light up the Dynavap whenever - early groggy mornings next to warm coffee or late at night over videogames, and I can do it with more variability in my technique and kit and still get pungent, punchy hits. Rarely will you need to hit up another bowl unless you have moderately high tolerance. The other really cool thing I learned while I was researching the Dynavap is that you actually have the ability to choose a one-hitter vs. session style experience. This video goes over using it as a session style device : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unrxW-Ad8c4 While the PORTABILITY can't be beat, I ain't using this outside lol, it looks like you're doing *****. Great to bring to someone's house or to the outdoors though! You have that with the POTV One, but your main stress would be battery. As I mentioned before, the glass in the SBJ is able to crack over transport (if you put it in your backpack, have a sweater to cushion it just in case). I heard a lot of debate between the 2020 M and the 2021 M and the caps and such. It's all very vague to me, but as a noob to Dynavap, I find the 2020 to be great! I'm a sucker for tactility, so it's a huge plus. Sometimes it's hard to miss the port, but you get used to it. The cap is totally fine for me as it cools down very fast. You can't really go wrong with whatever model you go with though - there's people who love their 2019's more than the newer models if that says anything. Just get one! It's perfect.
How is there only one review of this? I love this vaporizer (2020 model), it has a learning curve but for anyone who's willing to experiment and put in the effort then the end results are great. The only situation that I've had trouble with is outdoors with wind, but then they offer induction heaters for that. I've used it indoors and out, including sub-freezing snowy outdoor, and have no trouble getting big tasty hits from a half-size adjust-a-bowl. It's all about knowing the conditions and how much to heat it. You can't always rely on the click, it just takes experimentation and experience. The vape is so compact (even with butane torch) that I pack it with me frequently (see attached photos). Although it's a bit less discrete in public, with the "crack pipe" look. And you have to help anyone (like friends) who's not familiar with it. But again, I guess that's why they offer induction heaters.
it’s a neat gadget, it does what it says, but not optimal. bought this because i saw it overwhelmingly recommended as a first time vape, but i disagree. i Almost immediately bought a battery-powered vape. This serves its purpose, and it does it well, but a battery burns more evenly, is much more portable, and easier to temp control. This vape is cooler in concept, but only buy if you want to take 10 seconds to reheat the cap 15-20 times a bowl. Didn’t help the lighter I bought with it broke second use. The backup one they sent me broke the next day. At least i’ll have it to use while my battery is charging & should be good for camping.
Hey Brandon, I see that you've been working with Mike on the lighter issue. Sending him this review as well in regards to your Dynavap. You should be hearing from him soon. I think he may be able to make this better for you. Take care, Larry
