A Work of Art
Although the plastic potter/grinder included with the Tafée Bowle is perfectly adequate, this substantial, pleasingly heavy, beautifully decorated device is a wonderful upgrade. It is much smoother in operation than the plastic one and far more of an “objet d’art.”
Wish they’d include regularly
Great item, solid magnets on the side keep it closed well. Glad I scooped one as it’s a great storage option, threadless design provides an excellent, consist grind for the Tafee. I wish they’d include this with their Bowle at the price point, I’d think you could raise $20 & @ $399 have the metal grinder or second cup. Good product POTV support is the BEST! Shoutout to POTV for excellent products & service.

Taffe Potter Review
If you are a nitpick about cosmetic damage and scratches- since Tafée themselves do not individually box up the metal Potters- it will likely get some damage during shipping. Also interesting to note, compared to the sample picture directly on Tafée’s website- I noticed the machining nipples/nubs are not there/‘left over’ in the ‘machined pattern’. (Should be the last picture/screenshot, to be compared with the photo taken showing the grinder teeth) Do with that information what you will. (It’s important to remember that this is from Tafée themselves- a brand new company-and as such you are paying the premium for the ‘innovation’ of the pot holder, as opposed to the build materials and quality.) That all being said, this definitely feels closer to a $30 grinder in terms of quality. (which actually makes sense as they are charging $39 MSRP just for the 4 pots this includes normally- making the grinder itself MSRP around $40) Not many companies are willing to go this far, so I think it is still cool despite the small flaws. (Why I rated it a 4/5) Just a bit overpriced, and if you have a superior grinder already, a bit redundant.
