Wattage & Heating Starter Guide

Wattage controls how quickly your device heats and can have a big impact on the extraction. Your ideal setting will vary depending on your cap, tip, heating depth, and preferred vapor style.

Standard Cap (Captive Cap): Start around 30W to 40W for a slower, more controlled heat-up and fuller extraction. If heating feels too slow, gradually increase the wattage.

Faster Heating: Try 65W to 70W for quicker heat-up times. If the vapor feels too light or the heater reaches the click too quickly, lower the wattage or adjust the heating depth.

Larger or Armored Caps: These setups have more thermal mass and may require different wattage, depth, and heating times. Start conservatively and make small adjustments until you find the right balance.

Once you've found a wattage you like, fine-tune the chamber depth to focus the heat where your tip carries the most mass. Then adjust the timer to match your typical click time.

Tip: Start at one end of the wattage range, see how your setup responds, then adjust in small increments. Every tip and cap combination behaves differently, so a little experimentation goes a long way.

Adjust the heating chamber's depth to dial in specific heating profiles. Extend the chamber to heat your DynaVap from the tail-end of the cap and create denser vapor. Shrink the chamber and heat it more towards the top of the cap for quicker heat-ups and gentler extractions. Use the window to see and mark exactly where you’re at.
