Charge it

Your PAX Flow will come with a partial charge, and it's best to break it in for the first time with a full charge. Take the included USB-C cable and plug it in. It’ll light up white with its current charge, indicated by the number of petals shown. All the petals will light up and slowly pulse when it’s ready to go.

Controls

The PAX Flow dry herb vaporizer is controlled by a single button located on top of the device:

  • Click and hold it to power it on and off
  • Click it once to cycle through the heat modes

After a second or two, the Flow will flash and turn pink and immediately start heating up. You can also give the Flow a quick shake to check the current battery level.

Heat modes

Here are the five heat modes available to you:

  • Stealth Mode (1 purple petal): For low-key sessions with minimal vapor. Great when you want to keep things discreet without sacrificing flavor. Does not dim the LEDs.
  • Efficiency Mode (2 green petals): Designed for longer, slower sessions. Starts light and gradually ramps up for a smooth, extended ride.
  • Flavor Mode (3 yellow petals): Prioritizes taste. This mode delivers the most flavor-packed hits, especially in the first few draws.
  • Boost Mode (4 orange petals): For fast, heavy-hitting sessions with denser clouds.
  • Bubbler Mode (4 rainbow petals): Cranks the temperature up for the thickest clouds, made just for bubblers. Cycle through each setting twice to unlock

Standby mode

If you set the PAX Flow down for around 30 seconds, the oven will start to cool off. This makes more efficient use of the battery, and keeps your herbs from cooking when you aren’t actively hitting it. When the petals turn blue, the vape is in standby mode. Picking it up or touching the mouthpiece with your lip or finger will cause it to heat back up quickly. After three minutes of inactivity, the PAX Flow will shut off on its own.

Run a burnoff

Run a quick burnoff before your first session to clear out any leftover manufacturing residue. Turn the Flow on with an empty oven and set it to Boost Mode (4 orange petals). Let it run for three to five minutes, and pick it up if it drops into standby.

Use a medium-coarse grind

The PAX Flow does well with a variety of grinds and packs, but works best with a medium-coarse grind and a medium pack. The oven maxes out at 0.3g and needs a tighter pack to reach that. Fill it up to the top, tamp it down a bit, and then fill in any leftover space.

Choose your Heat Mode

Turn your Flow on and set it to either petal one or two for lighter sessions that focus oin flavor with gentle clouds, or petal three or four for stronger clouds. If you’re unsure, set it to Heat Mode two for a balanced mix.

Dive in when it's ready

The Flow will vibrate and turn Green when it’s ready to go. When you’re ready, take a slow and steady sip from the top of the device for three to five seconds and exhale. Vapor will continue to ramp up as the session goes on, so dive back in for more as you please. The PAX Flow can keep up with slow and steady or fast and heavy pulls, so experiment and find your perfect hit.

Stirring is optional

Stirring isn’t necessary, but if you want to get every last bit out of your herbs, open the oven, give it a quick swirl, tamp it down, and then fire it up again.

Brush out the oven when youre finished

When you’re done, dump out the herbs and give your vape a quick brush to prevent sticky buildup. Make sure you do this at the end of each session to keep your vape cleaner for longer.
