DynaVap Captive Cap
The DynaVap Captive Cap introduces key features for an improved DynaVap experience. If you’ve ever had a Cap pop off of your DynaVap M during a heat up, you’ll really appreciate the new design of this cap. It comes with a small indentation on either side to secure itself to the tip and prevent any mishaps. The Captive Cap also has enhanced shaping for better heat distribution as well as upgraded tactile responses for a more distinct “click” when heating and cooling down. If you’re looking for a replacement cap or just want something new, the Captive Cap is a great option.

The captive cap is great. It is crimped at the bottom and keeps the cap from falling off. It's a straightforward product so I'd like to take a second to highlight their customer service and suggest a $10 Dynavap product POTV sells that I believe is a game-changer and eliminates hand pain from spinning the dyna as you heat. I accidentally clicked on the wrong cap. The cap I had selected wouldn't have worked with the FMJ Cap Jacket and I would've had to buy another one and keep a cap I don't need. I immediately contacted customer service (11PM) via email and explained. They replied back early the next morning and got everything taken care of. Then there was a hiccup with the back-end price difference payment. They responded the same day and got it fixed. They are quick to send orders out. Everything had gotten to me extremely quickly except my most recent order, but that was usps fault. Speaking of the FMJ Sleeve, do yourself a favor and buy it. Slips over your captive cap and has a small "S" that you point the tip flame at until it clicks twice. After a few uses the copper sleeve darkens. This allows the sleeve to shine copper again just where you're directing the flame. You aim your single flame torch at the "s", letting just the very tip of the flame to touch it. After a few seconds a little circle starts shining where the tip of the flame is. This let's you easily adjust the proximity of the flame so you can get that perfect bowl without combusting. I like waiting for 4-5 seconds after the 2nd click to stop the flame b/c I feel it let's you ******* more vapor. The Biggest reason to buy the FMJ sleeve is thag you don't have to constantly spin the dyna while heating. If you have arthritis, pain in your hands, wear gloves, etc. buy the sleeve!
