I got the shorty one. High quality and definitely makes it more discrete for travel or use out and about.

Excellent stem!!! Making the bowl from clear glass was ingenious!! Most people might not realize this, but black glass can not be shaped as thin as clear, and in order to assure the same performance as the stock stems clear glass would be necessary, at least for shaping the bowl. I've tried completely black short stems from other sites and none compare to the one I purchased on this site, which was black with a clear bowl. It worked very similarly to the stock stem. This is a must-have for vaping on the go!!! Makes the Solo 2 look similar to an oil vape pen

Giving two stars only because the mouthpiece CAN be used as such, if necessary. From there on, it's only bad news - its dimensions (wall thickness and hence chamber geometry) were different from the original one; there was a "dip" in the outer diameter exactly where the Solo 2's o-ring is located, and so I am not sure it seals properly; and, lastly, unlike the shown on the website picture, the piece I received was darkened all the way down which effectively prevents one from seeing how tightly packed the chamber is. All in all, to me it looked like the next randomly selected stem you can by off Amazon. The clear mouthpiece I got as a replacement after contacting the company was the OEM product, same as the originally supplied with the vaporizer, and so I recommend buying that one instead - especially if usefulness matters to you more than the cool looks (:
