Who's the Arizer Solo 2 for?

The Arizer Solo II is for anyone that wants excellent, high-quality vapor, fast heat up time, long battery life, and full digital temperature control from a portable vape at a reasonable price. It’s perfect for around the house or for on the go sessions where pocketability is not a priority.

Great vapor

The original Solo set the standard for tasty, cool vapor quality while on the go, and the Solo II keeps it going with its ceramic, stainless steel and glass vapor path and glass mouthpiece. With a clean airpath, the taste is pure and the vapor is smooth and cool, just like we’ve come to expect from Arizer vaporizers.

Check out the Solo 2 Water pipe Adapter for cooler sessions through your favorite bubbler.

Fast heat up time

The Solo II gets up to 390 ° Fahrenheit in just 23 seconds and to top temperature in under 30 seconds. Perfect for a quick session!

Long, long, battery life

The Solo II has one of the longest lasting batteries in a portable vaporizer that we've tested with just shy of 3 hours of use. This is about double the battery life that we see from most portables. And if you forget to keep your Solo II charged, it can also be used while plugged in after just 5 or so minutes of charging.

Open airflow

The Solo II comes standard with recessed heat jets in the heating chamber for a little more airflow than the original. The Solo II features a more powerful heater and can keep up with even the strongest inhales and deliver consistent heat, with or without a grinder.

Arizer designed the Solo II with a slimmer profile in an oval shape that feels much nicer in your hand than the original Solo, but doesn’t sacrifice durability. While still not quite pocket friendly, like the firefly 2+ or a DaVinci vaporizer, the included carrying case works well when portability matters.

If you're looking for an even smaller Arizer vape, check out the Arizer ArGo.

Full digital session control

The Solo II features a LED display with easy to use button controls to customize your vaporizing style and personalize your session without the need for an app. You get full digital temperature settings, adjustable auto-shutoff timer, adjustable beep notification, brightness control, and a belt-clip carrying case similar to the one that comes with the Arizer Air

No for Me

The Arizer Solo 2 is a nice looking vape with great build quality. There are two major concerns for me: first, the battery is not replaceable, and second, the stems are glass, which can present a challenge when out and about. I knew both going into the purchase and only time will tell if it becomes an issue or not. Overall, I like the aesthetic and feel of the Solo 2. I'll interject here to point out that everything beyond this point may just be a matter of personal preference. That said, i just can't get this to provide the vaping experience I am looking for. I received it a few days ago, and have been spinning my wheels since trying to get the performance everyone else seems to be raving about; the excitement has given way to utter frustration. No matter how fine or coarse I grind the material, it burns too quickly on the higher settings (415+), and without much to show for it in terms of vapor. On a lower setting (400-415), I'm going blue in the face just to get a decent inhale of vapor. Warmup period of at least 60 seconds after temp is achieved helps, but only marginally. If I can manage to produce a good cloud, typically on the higher temps, it irritates my throat and makes me cough. I'm used to this harshness with water pipes and paper rolled material, but never with a vape. I've tried different strains, coarse grain, fine grain, and a different stem (picked up a shorter one at my local shop), but the vaping experience I'm searching for continues to elude me. I'm no expert in vaping, but I'm no novice either. I've owned the pax 2, cfx boundless, xmax starry v2 and v3, and an Arizer desktop model. The xmax starry v3 was by far my favorite, I even replaced it with the same version after my first v3 bit the dust. My least favorite? The Arizer desktop model. I used it a few times and now it's collecting dust in a closet. It also produced a poor vaping experience, but it's ratings now are low in contrast to the Solo 2, so I chalked up the poor performance of the desktop model to a bad design; an isolated issue. When I was searching for a new vape, I figured I'd try the Solo 2 since it had such amazing reviews. Now I wish I had stuck to the xmax starry line, or perhaps given the potv one a try, since it's configuration is more similar to the cfx and starry models that I appreciated so much in the past. To conclude, while the Arizer looks good, exhibits good build quality, and is apparently loved by many (based on reviews here and elsewhere online), it has not won me over. There's too much resistance on the inhale and the vapor is not as satisfying as other vapes, even when compared to slightly less expensive or similarly priced units. I'll continue to adjust settings and experiment with different methods in an attempt to dial it in, but I'm starting to think Arizer and I just have different ideas of what makes a good vape.

Planet Of The Vapes

Hi Jessie, Larry here. In reading your review, I think what you are experiencing is the difference between 100% conduction-based vapes like your Pax and Starrys and a hybrid vape that leans towards convection, such as your Solo 2. Try slowing down your draw rate on your Solo. That may help. If it doesn't, you are still within our 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee window, so you can return it in exchange for something else, a store credit or a refund. Creating a service ticket for you right now to discuss. Talk to you in a bit, Larry

Love it

Wow this thing is great. Serious quality. Use it gently at first - it's very effective so don't think that just because you're not combusting it's going to be mild in effect. Nope. It is effective so use with reserve until you get to know it.

Love it!

I've had my Solo 2 for about 5 days now and love it! I've wanted an herbal vape for a while, done **** and *** based pen vapes. But I like the whole plant ****, so a vape I can just stick my *** in is perfect. Very easy controls, play with the temp to your taste. Been running 200C and that works for me. Battery life is great, while I only smoke in the evenings after work, I do hit it pretty hard :) , and I can go 2 days east on a full charge! And the taste is phenomenal! First thing you notice when you unbox it is the quality, this is a well built unit, feels good in the hand :) Easy to use. While this is NOT a pocket vape, it is easily transportable. Just a little too heavy and big to pocket it, but easy in a purse or backpack. Highly recommend this vape!
