Arizer Solo 2 review & demo
Who's the Arizer Solo 2 for?
The Arizer Solo II is for anyone wanting excellent vapor quality, fast heat up time, long battery life, and full digital control from a portable vaporizer at a reasonable price. It’s perfect for around the house or for on the go sessions where pocketability is not a priority.
Fantastic vapor
The original Solo set the standard for tasty, cool vapor while on the go, and the Solo II keeps it going with its ceramic, stainless steel and glass air path. The taste is pure and the vapor is smooth and cool, just like we’ve come to expect from Arizer.
Fast heat up time
The Solo II gets up to 390° F in just 23 seconds and to top temperature in under 30 seconds. Perfect for a quick session!
Long, long, battery life
The Solo II has one of the longest lasting batteries in a portable vaporizer that we've tested with just shy of 3 hours of battery life. This is about double the battery life that we see from most portables. And if you forget to keep your Solo II charged, it can also be used while plugged in after just 5 or so minutes of charging.
Full digital session control
The Solo II features a digital display with easy to use button controls to customize your vaporizer and personalize your session without the need for an app. We get full digital temperature control, adjustable auto-shutoff timer, adjustable beep notification, brightness control, and a belt-clip carrying case similar to the one that comes with the Arizer Air.
Open airflow
The Solo II comes standard with recessed heat jets in the bowl that allow a little more airflow than the original. Featuring a more powerful heater, the Solo II can keep up with even the strongest inhales and deliver consistent heat.
Smaller
Arizer designed the Solo II with a slimmer profile in an oval shape that feels much nicer in your hand than the original Solo. While still not quite pocket friendly for most people the included carrying case works well.
Warranty
The Solo II comes with a 2-year warranty on workmanship and defects, an industry leading 1-year warranty on the battery, and a lifetime warranty on the heating element. Like all of our products, the Solo II is covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

If you are already reading the reviews for this awesome vaporizer just go ahead and order it! I’ve been using vaporizers for years now and I’ve tried tons of different kinds between myself and friends. Even tried the famed Volcano, but this is the best dry herb vape I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. As far as personal use goes I’d choose this over any desktop vaporizer or handheld. The smoothness of the vapor is unreal. It barely makes me cough but every few puffs and only tickles the throat not burn it as a bong does. If you are looking for a group sesh the bowl might be a bit small for that, go ahead and get a desktop vape for a group sesh. For personal use, on the other hand, you won’t find anything better. The quality of vapor and the experience of hitting the vape is pleasant and tasty. The outer casing is completely metal with a smooth matte finish. It feels like it’s built to last and has an ergonomic design. I have been a chronic herb smoker for over six years now and smoking used to be my primary intake and jeez did it take its toll. My lungs and throat are so sensitive and a single hit from my water tool gives me crazy coughing fit to the point I occasionally throw up ~YUCKY~ but this delivers vapor so smooth I barely cough and the coughs are gentle. My favorite temperature right now is 400F for 6 minutes. For the average person, this vaporizer is on the expensive side (it was for me) but I believe it was worth every penny and more. If you want the highest quality vapor from a well-designed device that will likely last for years then the Arizer Solo II is a worthy investment.

Arizer Solo 2 is an amazing product with amazing battery life but it simply does not blow clouds like expected... my ONE POTV vaporizer is a lot smaller and blows way BIGGER clouds than the Arizer Solo 2.

Solo 2 went out. POTV took care of the warranty exchange with a new unit. Turn around time was very good. Will only buy from POTV.

I like that there’s no plastic. It comes with a box of stuff and a bit of a learning curve for me as I’ve only had really cheap basic vapes. I was looking for a vape that wouldn’t hurt my throat or chest or make me cough. I still get some of that with this one. There’s some restriction in air flow so not super easy to pull, which I wasn’t aware of. However I got the tip to take long slow pulls and that’s been helpful. I think it just takes awhile to get used to it. I also bought Ed’s TnT wood stem, which seems to work well with it.

Ordered a Solo 2 on a Tuesday night and received my order on that Friday! Bravo to POTV for your amazing customer service. I’ve had the Solo 2 for a week now and I love it so far. The battery lasted me an impressive week. I’m not a heavy smoker (three aroma tubes a night) so that lends to it but still a very impressive battery. Incredibly easy to use and fast heat up time. The only two things I would recommend improving on is the push buttons. They seem sturdy enough but at the same time feel a bit cheap. They make a weird clicking noise and generally is a bit annoying. Making them out of a softer plastic or rubber material would be an improvement. Secondly, the case is sleek...and slick. It would be incredibly easy to slip out of your hand. Maybe offer a silicon case or incorporate silicone/rubber into the case, perhaps. 10/10 would buy this again. 10/10 would order from POTV again (already have)
