Who's the Sapphire for?
The Sapphire Vaporizer by Storm was designed for the person who wants good vapor at a low price, and is willing to sacrifice some features for build quality. With its simple interface and no-frills controls, the Sapphire brings quality vapor and a stealthy form-factor to the ultra-low-priced vaporizer market.
Very low price
Did we mention the $79 price tag? It’s easier to find a decent dry herb vaporizer under $100 today than it was a couple years ago. Now we’re looking for quality features at even lower prices. The Sapphire wins with a build quality and materials that normally cost $10 to $30 more.
Good vapor quality
The Sapphire’s vapor quality will surprise at this price point. Lower temperatures are full of taste, with bigger clouds on the two highest settings. The mouthpiece does a great job of cooling the vapor, even on the highest setting.
The Sapphire is equipped with a ceramic oven and ceramic zirconia mouthpiece for great taste. The tough, anodized aluminum outer shell can take some hits.
Fast heat-up time
The Sapphire heats up to medium in 30 seconds on a fully charged battery. Heat up times can drag out on higher temperature settings, and lower battery levels, but always come in under a minute.
The Sapphire is small enough to go anywhere, and the all-black design easily blends in. Even in a dark room, the Sapphire’s single light won’t draw attention, and is easy to cover up if it does.
Average battery life
Expect to get an hour of runtime, or a dozen bowls, on a single charge with the Sapphire. Our tests were run on the medium temperature level. Vaping at higher temperatures will eat up the battery faster.
The Sapphire’s design is about quality over features. The one-button interface controls the power, and cycles through five temperature settings. The battery level is displayed when it powers on or off.
Easy to load
The Sapphire’s loading area is beveled to guide your herbs into the bowl. The top sides have been extended, making it even easier to pour herbs from a grinder without spilling. Smart!
A few shortcomings
We love removable batteries and haptic feedback, but don’t expect them on all lower priced vaporizers. If you need these features on a budget, consider the Boundless CFC Lite. Also, the Sapphire mouthpiece can get a little too hot (up to 135℉) with longer sessions. If you’re more sensitive to touching hot surfaces, consider something like the POTV Starry that has a similar design, but doesn’t get as hot.
The Sapphire vaporizer has a 6-month warranty when purchased from Planet of the Vapes and, as with all vaporizers purchased from us, you are also covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

My experience with planet of the vapes
Great little budget vape
I recently got the Sapphire Storm as I was traveling to Amsterdam and didn’t want to risk having any of my vapes confiscated as it was my first time going through customs and wasn’t sure if it would be a problem so got this as it was cheap, I own a Volcano Classic, Fury 2, Mighty, Ghost Mv1 and a Dynavap so I have a good variety of different vapes to compare to. The Sapphire held up very well considering the cost of this vape, I spent a week in Dam using it constantly and it didn’t let me down at all. The pros to this vape are being able to charge on the go with a power bank, it’s small, light and easy to clean. The cons are that because it’s so small it has a little mouthpiece that offers little cooling so the vape can be rather harsh on the high temps, but it wasn’t so harsh that it ruined the experience. My friends actually don’t find it harsh like I do because they still smoke whereas I gave up smoking a few years ago and like the smoothness of vaping so that’s something to consider. Overall I find the vaping experience of the Storm to be in between vaping a Dynavap and a Fury 2...kinda like a best of both vape experience, considering the Fury is like twice the price. I think the Storm is a decent vape for money. If your looking to switch from smoking this is defo a good start. And for anyone wanting to travel with a vape just make sure it’s cleaned out when going through customs and you put it in with the stuff from your pockets rather than trying to conceal it
