Deep cleaning your PAX Flow takes less time and effort than most vapes. The basics are the same, but the process is much simpler across the board. A few parts need a quick soak, but the rest wipes clean in seconds. Follow these easy steps to keep your Flow fresh and ready to perform.

What you need

  • Rubbing alcohol or warm soapy water
  • Small dish for soaking
  • Cotton swap (included)
  • Paper towel

Remove the oven lid and oven screen

Here’s what we’ll be cleaning today:

  • Oven
  • Oven screen
  • Oven lid
  • Vapor path
  • Mouthpiece

Start by removing the oven lid and emptying it of any leftovers. Then, remove the silicone mouthpiece and put it to the side.

How to remove the oven screen

To remove the oven screen, take the included metal poker from the PAX Tool and push down on either side of the screen until it dislodges.

Soak or wipe the screen and silicone mouthpiece

If the screen and mouthpiece are particularly dirty, soak them in rubbing alcohol for an hour or so, or give them a good wipe. If you don’t have any isopropyl alcohol on hand, warm, soapy water will do. Dawn dish soap is a strong choice. If they’re not too gunky, a quick wipe with a damp cotton swab or paper towel will do. Once they’re clean, rinse them thoroughly and set them out to dry.

Wipe down the vapor path and the oven

Cleaning a vapor path has never been easier. Dab a little isopropyl alcohol or soapy water onto a paper towel and wipe away any sticky gunk along the vapor path.

Then, take a cotton swab dipped in your iso or water and wipe around the oven. Hold your vape upside down while you do this to prevent anything from dripping down into the unit. A bit of discoloration in the oven is perfectly normal after extensive use.

Reassemble and run a burnoff

Once everything is bone dry, place the oven screen back inside the oven with the flared sides up and attach the mouthpiece back to the top of the vape. Close everything up with the oven lid, and you’re good to go.

Turn your PAX Flow on, set it to Heat Mode four (four orange petals), and let it run for about five minutes to remove any remaining residues. Pick it up or move it around when it drops into standby. And that’s it!

Tips for a cleaner PAX Flow

The PAX Flow is one of the easiest vapes to clean, and it’s so easy to keep it running fresh for longer. After each session, while it’s still warm, take a paper towel and wipe down the oven and vapor path to prevent sticky buildup. Do this often and you’ll rarely need a deep cleaning.
