Deep cleaning your XMAX Oont Pro is quick, simple, and totally worth it. Most parts just need a quick soak, and the rest takes seconds to wipe clean. Follow these steps to keep your Oont Pro running smooth and tasting fresh.
What you need
- Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl) or warm soapy water
- Small dish or container for soaking
- Cotton swab
- Paper towel
Remove the glass stem and oven filter
Here’s what we’ll be cleaning today:
- Glass stem
- Filter
- Oven chamber
- Silicone o-rings
Start by pulling the glass stem out of the top of the vape. Set it aside. Then remove the filter from the bottom of the oven chamber.
The filter has two small silicone o-rings near the top of it and they're probably sticky. Gently slide them off and set them aside. We’re not soaking these, so make sure to keep them separate.

Soak the stem and cooling unit
Drop the glass stem and the filter into a small dish of isopropyl alcohol. Let them soak for about 30 to 60 minutes to break down any resin or gunk. These parts are sturdy, so a good soak will do most of the work for you.
If you’re out of iso, warm, soapy water is an okay backup. Once they’re clean, rinse them thoroughly and set them out to dry.
Wipe down the o-rings
Use a damp paper towel or cotton swab to gently clean the silicone o-rings. Don’t soak them. A quick wipe is all they need.
Clean out the oven
Take a cotton swab dipped in iso or war, soapy water, and swab out the inside of the oven. It’ll be pretty dirty if you let your herbs sit in there. I forget to empty it all the time!

Reassemble and run a burnoff
Once dry, take the glass stem and insert it back into its slot. Slide the o-rings back onto the filter and then insert back into the oven. The filter needs to insert into the stem from the bottom. Close the oven door and then push down on the stem again to make sure everything is snug and in place.
Turn the vape on and set it to the highest temp setting and let it run a full session to burn off any leftover residue. And that’s it!
Tips for a cleaner Oont Pro
After each session, while your Oont Pro is still warm, open the oven and eject all of the spent herbs and give the oven a quick brush. Don’t let it sit and build up inside.
Use the dosing capsule, where everything is contained, if you want to avoid messes altogether.
