Who is the Ghost MV1 for?
The Ghost MV1 is a great vape for first adopters who prize excellent vapor and on-demand heating, but don’t mind a little learning curve. Ghost has been providing excellent support, which is to be expected with a premium vaporizer at a premium price point.
Cool, tasty vapor
The MV1’s full-convection heating produces some incredibly tasty vapor, and the heat sink cools it better than any other portable we’ve come across. The vapor is never hot or harsh.
Heating the MV1 from a cold start can take around 10 seconds, and successive draws only need around 3 seconds. That means true, on-demand heat that doesn’t cook your herbs between draws.
The MV1’s crucible system takes some getting used to, but the ability to have extras pre-loaded makes up for it some. The crucible dispenser allows you to take a whole pile without them opening up in your pocket.
Medical grade materials
Ghost only uses medical grade materials in the MV1, including a ceramic crucible with stainless steel lid, a glass mouthpiece, and a heat sink made of stainless steel with a ceramic interior sleeve.
Dry herbs and extracts
The MV1 comes with an extra crucible and lid, as well as a concentrate pad so you are ready to vaporize anything, dry or sticky.
Portable, but not pocketable
The Ghost MV1 is one of the biggest, heaviest portable vaporizers we carry. It’s easy to throw in a bag, but isn’t exactly discrete. It’s about two-thirds the size, and the same weight, as a can of soda.
With only two buttons and three lights, you’ll need to learn to speak the MV1’s language. It’s a bit of a learning curve, but the smartphone app can ease that, as well as helping you get used to the controls.
The smartphone app, available for iOS and Android gives us more flexible control, but also isn’t necessary for vaping. It lets you fine tune your temps and easily change them, as well as register your vape for an extended warranty, do some shopping, and even lock your vape so it’s a brick to those you don’t want using it.
Removable, proprietary battery
The MV1 comes with one proprietary battery pack that can be charged via micro-USB, or removed and charged in the external charger. Battery life is good, but can vary by use case. Expect between five and nine crucibles depending on how many draws you take, and the temperatures you use.
The Ghost MV1 vaporizer comes with a two year warranty on workmanship and defects, which can be extended to five years with registration via the smartphone app. The battery is only covered for one year, but is user replaceable. Like all of our products, if you buy your Ghost MV1 from us, you are covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

Terrible product ... it sucks wouldn’t buy from this store again.
This item ******. I was expecting it to work great. It got here, and is broken very disappointed with the product would never buy from planet of the vapes again.
Hi Tate, I totally understand your frustration. When you purchase a vaporizer, especially one as expensive as the Ghost, you would expect it to work. I know I would. With that said, this can happen with any product from any retailer. The question is, when this happens, will that retailer stand behind the product that they sold. I can't speak for any other retailer but I can speak for Planet of the Vapes and we WILL stand behind every product that we sell. I see that we are in the process of sending you a refund as we speak and we are doing this within 24 hours after you reported this issue. We could have also exchanged it for another Ghost or any other product we carry or spend as much time with you as necessary to troubleshoot any issues that you may have encountered with your MV-1. All of these options are immediately available to you if any situations like this arise. We take customer service very seriously here at POTV. We want every one of our customers to be happy with the product that they purchased and we will do whatever we can to make that happen. Again, apologies that the Ghost didn’t work out for you. If there is anything else that we could have done here for you, please contact us here: https://www.planetofthevapes.com/pages/contact-us and let us know. With best regards, Larry
Over Heating MV1
I is over heating MV1
Hi Grant, This is going to be a bit lengthy, so please bear with me. The long and short of it is air enters through the top of the unit, goes down through the heater and back up through the herbs and out the top of the unit again. If there is a leak somewhere the air comes into the MV1 and right back out without first going into the heater. This would cause the vape to get hot on the outside but not create any vapor, so I think this is your issue. Please check some things for me and let me know if it fixes your problem. You can contact us here: https://www.planetofthevapes.com/pages/contact-us 1 - When you pull out the mouthpiece it has a notch in it that catches on a lip on the black gasket inside. If you pull it out further than this notch, you can create a seal problem. For starting out, just pull it out about halfway, or half an inch, but not past the point where the notch catches on the lip. Once you've got things working you can try different mouthpiece lengths to get the hits you want. 2 - The heat sink needs to be pressed all the way down into the MV1. This is most likely the problem you're having. Just push down on the top of the heat sink and see if it sinks into the vape any further, then give it another try. 3 - If none of that works, you can check your heat sink for a leak. If you open the oven door and push up on the green seal above the oven, the heat sink will start to pop out. Finish by pulling it out with your fingers, then extend the mouthpiece halfway and press the bottom of it against your palm. Try to draw on it like normal. If the bottom is pressed tightly against your palm, the intake will be closed and you'll get no air flow. If you do get air flow and the intake is covered, the heat sink needs to be taken apart to make a better seal. I'll save instructions for that if it turns out to be our problem. Here's a video of the heat sink assembly steps if you want to get a head start. https://www.ghostvapes.com/how-to-correctly-assemble-the-heat-sink-in-the-mv1 Thanks and let me know how it goes. With best regards, Larry
This thing was a monster- producing thick , wonderful vapor along with great taste, especially when kept clean. This is where I ran into difficulty. Carefully following instructional videos, I cleaned it at least once a day. The heat sink was always difficult to slide in ( yes, it was facing the right way :-), but patience did pay off. However, this afternoon the heat sink somehow lodged in slightly off center. Long story short, I was able to pry it out, but now the crucible door won’t close. Help please. This is a great vape!
Hi Linda, I see that we and Ghost addressed this issue for you and you are up and running again but if you EVER have any future issues at all, please contact us here: https://www.planetofthevapes.com/pages/contact-us and we'll get right on it for you. With best regards, Larry
First timer and love it
Honestly I never thought I’d be someone who vaped. But looking into and researching I came across the Ghost MV1 and I love it!! Loading is easy for me and cleaning it is also easy. I’ve watched their videos and am super happy with my purchase!! First rate in my book!
Somewhere Over the Rainbow
I've been using herbs for 14 years this summer. I've come across a number of vaporizers over that time, from ceramic box Vapes with rubber tubes to volcanoes to palm Vapes. The idea has always made sense but none of the above-mentioned jobs seemed effective enough for a chronic user. Thus, I stuck to combustion and continued to cough and hack up phlegm for many sun cycles. Then I bought the GhostMV1 Stealth. God! DAMN! A lot of reviews were iffy and the price was high. But "damn!", I say! Technology has come along way and the price is well worth it. The ergonomic design is great and makes sense in every way- shape of the adjustable mouthpiece matching the shape of the lips opposed to full circle, the weight and shape of the device feels comfortable and secure in the hand, the science and design of the crucible and heat sink. It's all wonderful. Yes it takes some learning. I'm convinced that there are one of two explanations for the reviews that are anything but positive: either, 1) the early satin versions we're faulty because my Stealth edition is not, or 2) the people that complained about not getting the best vape experience the device had to offer probably aren't doing it right. Again, yes, there is a learning curve but this cheap curmudgeon says that's okay. If you can't figure out the Ghost, it's your own fault. The company has several super helpful videos from a basic How-To in-depth instructionals on using dry herb, concentrates, cleaning the device, and using the app. There's no reason to have an unsatisfactory draw when you can toggle the temperature from your phone without touching a single button on the ghost. More on why I love this vape: One of the major reasons I never bought a vaporizer in the past is because the flavor always reminded me of slightly scorched popcorn. This Ghost vapor tastes the way flower is meant to taste. No long rubber or glass tubes ( the mouthpiece is only exposed by a half inch to one inch from the top of the device). Crucibles are a great way to use a very small quantity of product and have some ready if you're in the mood for a double hitter. And using the app is a perfect way to get the most clouds out of one bowl. If you're in the mood to go through a crucible in one sitting, you can start the session with a couple hits at a very low temperature with the mouthpiece almost all the way out to get the best flavor of the session. Increase the temp by ten or 20 degrees Fahrenheit every 3 or 4 hits until you have no vapor. The strength and potency increases as the original flavor diminishes. It takes a while to go through a crucible that way with close to 10 really good hits and a few heavy hitters. The price is well worth it although I wish the company made more accessories, albeit reducing the price of the battery and fast charger. Oh well, all the money goes into a dope *** machine. Go with your gut and buy the Ghost! You won't regret it.
