Concentrates can spill and run down into the heater and damage your vape if you're not careful. Use only a very small amount when vaporizing concentrates.

Good solution!

I purchased two Volcano Hybrid units to replace my last Digit. I have had all the units as well as the Mighty. My first Classic was shortly after the turn of the century. The Hybrid has improvements that I like but when Storz and Bickel abruptly stopped distributing drip screens it was a blow. I had two new machines(1 was a spare just in case) and I only use concentrates. Soon all of the independent retail outlets ran out of remaining inventory. I contacted S and B as well as POTV questioning the sudden disappearance of pads necessary to use concentrates. I purchased my two machines with drip pads and a manual explaining their use. I thought that someone should have at least explained. It wasn't coming, so I soaked what used drip pads I had in alcohol over and over until they were shredded. I recently saw these dosing capsules online at POTV. While I usually thought of capsules as more suited for the Mighty and Crafty-with plant material just too small for a Volcano session. I was so happy to finally have a way to use concentrates again. I now only vaporize solvent-free concentrates, and these dosing capsules not only work but actually work much better than the larger drip pads. Having the small drip pad pre-installed makes it easy to place just the right amount on the pad and place the cap on top. You do need to get the reducer that fits snugly into the orange base but everything fits perfectly. Using concentrates previously meant that the lifespan of my Volcanoes was limited to 2-3 years. There was a steadily increasing amount of time needed to fill the balloon due to the leakage of concentrate that coated the mechanisms. These small capsules do not leak because everything fits tightly. So kudos to whoever decided that this was a solution we needed. I bought 400 for 300 dollars. They come in S and B boxes with small caps separated from the base with the drip pad. The number of dosing caps and the good pricing means I no longer have to conserve the large drip pads because of cost and lack of availability. Less waste and dripping while still retaining the ease of use and high quality that buying Volcanoes offers. I am no longer upset with Storz and Bickel and continue to think Planet of the Vapes offers fast shipping, fair pricing and a first-class returns policy. I thought the best we would get would be after-market drip pads without guaranteed quality control. These dosing capsules put into the solid and well-designed reducer are a far better way to vaporize concentrate material than the old way. My irritation has turned to elation! If you enjoy concentrates you will need these. If you are not as anxious as me to stock up you can buy the individual boxes of 40 capsules at about $1 each. Buying the 400 units package for $300 provides you with a bonus amount of 100 capsules. You can use a capsule a few times with a smaller amount because there is no waste. Don’t forget to buy the reducer which snaps into the orange base more tightly than the traditional filling chamber did. I might buy another 400 now that I think about it. I never want to be without drip pads for my Volcano Hybrid again!
