Who is it for?
The Storz & Bickel Plenty is a great choice for vaporizer enthusiasts who are typically tied to one spot. It provides some of the best cooled vapor on the market, with excellent flavor and big clouds, thanks to dialed in conduction and convection heating. It’s a great choice for people entering the world of vaporization who want something to pass around the couch, or leave plugged in by their bed, thanks to its automatic shut-off. It’s also the least expensive dry herb vaporizer from Storz & Bickel, if you’re interested in seeing what all the fuss is about with this premium brand.
Vapor quality: Tasty, efficient hybrid heat
Flavor is at the top of the list for the Plenty vape. Its large heat exchanger and stainless steel covered heating element provide plenty of convection heat at the beginning of the session. The metal coil cools the vapor extremely efficiently, so your flavors will come through loud and clear. Just make sure not to touch it while you’re vaping, it can get pretty hot. You can draw as fast, or as slow, as you like with its open airflow, and it will still impress you with dense, luxurious clouds.
It looks a bit different than most vaporizers, with an exposed metal coil protruding several inches from the top of the heating chamber, and a bright orange handle to activate the heater. Despite its looks, it boasts the same excellent materials and high quality construction we’re used to seeing from Storz & Bickel. It has no electronic components, making it extremely consistent and durable, and it plugs right into the wall, so you don’t have to charge any batteries.
The Plenty Vaporizer has unusual temperature controls and functionality. You set the temperature settings on a scale of 1-7 with a wheel on the side, and watch an analog “bike pump” type temperature gauge on the front. When it reaches the target temperature, a red light on the front will turn off with a click. After some time, it will turn off the heat and start cooling off, but you can activate it again by giving this handheld vaporizer another squeeze.
Medical grade materials
Storz & Bickel takes great pride in their material selection, and it shows in all of their products. The Plenty is made without any glass, so it’s extremely durable, and none of the parts will let off any hazardous or odorous fumes or materials when heated. If you’re concerned about material safety, the Plenty and its siblings are made with medical grade materials and are backed by numerous safety certifications.
Dosing capsules have become a popular option, whether it’s with the Storz & Bickel Volcano vaporizer, or portable vaporizers like the Mighty and Crafty+. Grab the Plenty Filling Chamber Reducer to use dosing capsules with your Plenty.
We’re authorized retailers of the Plenty vaporizer, so your purchase will be covered by Storz & Bickel’s three year warranty. Like any vaporizer purchased from us, it’s also covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
Disclaimer: Storz & Bickel vaporizers no longer include a steel mesh pad for dry concentrates.

Perfect Hybrid Vape
I got this vape four days ago and have gotten about 25 sessions out of it so far. I also got the chamber reducer and the 40 capsule filling set. I highly recommend getting those with this. This is the best vape for me. I’ve had the Utilian 722 for two years and have to deal with it getting hot and dying, neither of those is an issue with the Plenty. Also, I don’t have to deal with staying close enough to the vape to use the whip because you can move the unit anywhere. I had a 10-foot extension cord laying around the house, I recommend one if you want more freedom. I forget to squeeze the handle trigger to keep it on from time to time, the auto turn-off is the only thing I don’t like about this vape, but it’s an easy workaround.
Weakest of the S&B Lineup due to a single dumb design decision.
I've tried each S&B product and use a Crafty and Volcano regularly. IMO, they are the best in the business. I've been using the Volcano for about 15 years now, and my digital has been going strong for a full decade. It's exceptional, reliable, and efficient, however, the bag is annoying and loud. The Crafty is nice and perfectly portable but requires a fair amount of cleaning pretty often if you use it frequently. It's the same with the Mighty, just less portable. So that brings me to the Plenty. At first, I was quite happy with it. The flavor and efficiency were both excellent, and although it looks pretty funny, it got the job done well and quietly. Each time using it, I wished it was battery-powered, but with the long cord, it's not that bad. Overall, the initial impressions were quite positive, and I felt like it would get a lot of use as a mainstay in the collection. The problems started when I looked closely at where the mouthpiece attaches to the device. There are parts where there is aluminum rubbing on aluminum, and over time it started leaving darkened aluminum dust somehow. I have zero interest in getting that in my lungs. I know that the initial Volcano Hybrid had that issue (one of the reasons I never upgraded from the Digit), and that S&B addressed the issue with a recall and redesign. I'm concerned since I haven't heard the same about the Plenty's design when it shows the same issues (at least on my version). Perhaps Canopy's ownership (S&B's relatively new owner) has led to cost-cutting that caused things like this, as everyone knows most private equity guys don't care much for anything but money. Either way, it's a bummer because this is a great device that's ruined by a completely bone-headed design decision. The issue is a deal breaker for me, and this vaporizer has sat idle for some time now, which is a shame. If they change the design around the mouthpiece connection, I will gladly buy a new one. However, in its current form, I can't recommend it. Though with all that said, shout out to POTV. I've tried several retailers, and they've become my fave.
Planet Of The Vapes
Hi Peter, Larry here. Thanks for the kind words. Much appreciated. In regards to your Plenty, may I suggest that you contact them directly here on this issue: https://www.storz-bickel.com/en-us/contact . This is the very first time that we've heard of this particular issue with the Plenty, which is not to say that your experience is not valid. If you would like to discuss this further though, please reach out to me directly here:https://www.planetofthevapes.com/pages/contact-us With best regards, Larry
Large and Clunky
Not worth the hassle of use. Does not stand up on its own and gets very hot so you have no option other than to hold it the entire time by the triangular handle. The housing and tube get very hot so leaning it on something else to prop it up is not recommended. It is significantly larger than the portable vapes. The short power cord tethers you to an outlet as well. The actual vaping of bud works quite well - this thing waps! - but the inconvenience of use makes me think of Plenty as a lackluster compromise between portable and volcano.
This vaporizer different level of quality, smooth flavorful taste
A little quirky but hits hard
I have been a regular smoker for about 15 years and wanted to transition to vaping to cut down my rate of consumption and help my lungs. My preferred method, rolling, is not very efficient at all! I was looking for something for daily use at home so build quality was important and cost a factor. I'm more familiar with herbs and it's easier to get so dry herb was a requirement. My main concern was that it would hit as smoking does, and I can say 100% it succeeds in this. Has a nice drag-like smoking and a thick vapor I haven't seen from portable handhelds using herbs. A nice bonus is that you can use it with liquids and herbs, but I haven't tried liquids yet. Now, Let's get two things out of the way. 1 While it is handheld, it's in no way portable. 2, it really looks like a power tool. My wife calls it "bl*wing the power drill." I don't mind being tethered to an outlet at my desk, but it's a consideration. Looks didn't factor into my decision. I had tried the OG Volcano before so I was expecting a nice experience but still didn't expect all *that* much from vaping experience. I was wrong, and now find I don't want to roll anymore! Now I can taste the herbs much better. I have to remove 1 star because it should come with the chamber reducer, dosing caps, and filling kit included. Plenty comes with the Volcano size bowl which is serious business. The dosing capsules are much more convenient for one person having a regular session! A reducer/dosing kit would be a nice value add to this kit. TLDR: This thing rips!
