Something Crafty is coming from Storz & Bickel

With nothing more than a subtle social media post, Storz & Bickel has us excited for a new portable.

Over the last two weeks, Storz & Bickel (S&B) made several social media posts hinting at a new vaporizer! We’ve gotten used to the way S&B releases products - a short period of teasing, followed by an impressive vape, but it doesn’t make the wait any easier. Let’s try to piece it together.

What we know

Very little. The first Instagram post only shows a light scheme that is unmistakably Crafty related. We asked S&B for some clarification, and they confirmed it was referring to the Crafty, but wouldn’t share any more right now. That’s typical, so let the speculation begin!

The second Instagram post, made on October 25, shows a partially revealed vape, with what appears to be first part of the word 'Crafty'. You can find that post here.

What we don’t know

We’ve got lots of questions. The original Crafty was updated two years ago with a better battery and a revamped smartphone app. So what’s left? Does it have even better battery life? Does it heat up faster? Will there be more smartphone app features? Will it replace the Crafty, or sit next to it? When will it be available, and how much will it cost?

Worth the wait

Two months ago, S&B released the Volcano Hybrid, with significant upgrades to one of the most successful vaporizers ever. It’s not often a company upgrades their flagship product, but S&B proved they can make the best even better. The Crafty has room for improvement, so we’re easily excited to see how this release turns out. Stay tuned - it shouldn’t be long!
