Who's the PAX 3 for?
The PAX 3 is a perfect vaporizer if you're looking for a stylish, ultra-portable, and smart everyday carry kind of vape that works amazingly well with both flowers and concentrates.
Complete kit & basic kit
The PAX 3 Complete Kit comes with all the same accessories as originally offered with the PAX 3, including the Concentrate Insert for the extract inclined. Priced at $249, you get $100 worth of accessories for $50 more than you would pay for the Basic kit.
The PAX 3 Basic Kit, on the other hand, comes with everything you need to vape a full oven of dry herbs and nothing you don't.

New matte finish
PAX has changed out the glossy finish on the PAX 3 for a nice matte version of all the colors.
The PAX 3 easily fits in a pocket or a purse and can be hidden in most people's hand.
The PAX 3 utilizes both lip and motion sensors keeping the oven hot only when you're actually vaping and shutting itself off when you're done. The LED pedals on the face tell you whether it’s heating up, ready to vape, the battery level, temperature and everything else you need to know.
PAX has released a smartphone app (currently only available for Android devices, read more about the Apple app solution here), allowing you to customize heating profiles, update firmware and even implement security on your PAX 3.
Concentrates & dry herb
Unlike it's predecessor the PAX 2, the PAX 3 Complete Kit comes with a Concentrate Insert allowing you to switch from herbs to concentrates whenever you like. Usually '2-in-1' vaporizers really only do either dry herb or extracts well, but PAX has done a great job at having both mediums vape great in the PAX 3.
Half-Pack lid for small sessions
The PAX 3, like the PAX 2, absolutely needs to be packed tight to get the quality vapor we talk about loving from this vape. Now with the Complete Kit, a Half-Pack lid is included - letting you pack half the dry herb and get the same quality session you would expect from a tightly packed, full oven.

Just not a good fit for me.
Currently working with you on this Joel. With best regards, Larry
I am having trouble changing the temperature of my Pax 3. Also I can not find the Pax app on Apple. Is there another way I can connect my Pax to the app? Thanks
Creating a service ticket for you right now James. Talk to you soon, Larry
Previously I've only used the Mighty and love it, however, I wanted to try something more portable for going on walks, etc. To my surprise I find myself using the Pax 3 more than my Mighty as it's quite excellent; vapor is good, the flavor is good, heats up FAST (way faster than the Mighty), and does a decent job of using up all the plant material. I also like that the oven holds quite a bit more than the Mighty pods do, but of course, you lose the major convenience of the pods. Sometimes though when you just want one large oven the Pax is better though. Couldn't be happier with it. Highly recommend you get a packing and filling tool, I 3d printed one I found on Thingiverse, and it's AMAZING. Highly recommended if you have a 3d printer.
Given my situation was looking for the best possible discreet way to get the herb to help with my MS. Did a lot of research in vaping and after decided to give it a try and was happy with my decisions. The Pax 3 fit my situation it is very discreet in its size. Temps are easy to set and can set at a specific temp thx to the Pax app on my phone. Like the stealth mode, it helps in keeping the smell down. Would suggest getting the funnel if you're using ground-up herb less of a mess loading. Overall very happy with my Pax3. When I saw this deal just had to get another one for a spare. Thanks, Planet Of The Vapes. You have supplied all my needs in vaping. Will refer you to anyone I know looking for vapes.
Our pleasure, Lenny. Take care, Larry
I bought the Pax 3 after hearing great reviews about it. I like to use the device on the green mode but after about 3 minutes it gets entirely too hot to hold! And the black mouthpiece doesn't get as hot as the body but it definitely starts to heat the lips up after a few hits. I can only use it for about 6 minutes before it's too hot to the bare hand. Is this not an issue for anyone else? Am I doing something wrong?
Hi Jay, The Pax vaporizers do have a tendency to get quite warm. Try out the following: Hold your Pax closer to the mouthpiece rather than at the bottom where the oven is. Also, try holding it with your whole hand rather than your fingers to help dissipate some of that heat. Also, if you haven't done so yet, give it a good cleaning especially along the vapor path. Resin buildup can cause it to overheat a bit. If after doing the above, you find that it is still too hot to hold, please contact me here: https://www.planetofthevapes.com/pages/contact-us With best regards, Larry
