Who's the PAX 3 for?
The PAX 3 is a perfect vaporizer if you're looking for a stylish, ultra-portable, and smart everyday carry kind of vape that works amazingly well with both flowers and concentrates.
Complete kit & basic kit
The PAX 3 Complete Kit comes with all the same accessories as originally offered with the PAX 3, including the Concentrate Insert for the extract inclined. Priced at $249, you get $100 worth of accessories for $50 more than you would pay for the Basic kit.
The PAX 3 Basic Kit, on the other hand, comes with everything you need to vape a full oven of dry herbs and nothing you don't.

New matte finish
PAX has changed out the glossy finish on the PAX 3 for a nice matte version of all the colors.
The PAX 3 easily fits in a pocket or a purse and can be hidden in most people's hand.
The PAX 3 utilizes both lip and motion sensors keeping the oven hot only when you're actually vaping and shutting itself off when you're done. The LED pedals on the face tell you whether it’s heating up, ready to vape, the battery level, temperature and everything else you need to know.
PAX has released a smartphone app (currently only available for Android devices, read more about the Apple app solution here), allowing you to customize heating profiles, update firmware and even implement security on your PAX 3.
Concentrates & dry herb
Unlike it's predecessor the PAX 2, the PAX 3 Complete Kit comes with a Concentrate Insert allowing you to switch from herbs to concentrates whenever you like. Usually '2-in-1' vaporizers really only do either dry herb or extracts well, but PAX has done a great job at having both mediums vape great in the PAX 3.
Half-Pack lid for small sessions
The PAX 3, like the PAX 2, absolutely needs to be packed tight to get the quality vapor we talk about loving from this vape. Now with the Complete Kit, a Half-Pack lid is included - letting you pack half the dry herb and get the same quality session you would expect from a tightly packed, full oven.

I bought the Pax 3 after hearing great reviews about it. I like to use the device on the green mode but after about 3 minutes it gets entirely too hot to hold! And the black mouthpiece doesn't get as hot as the body but it definitely starts to heat the lips up after a few hits. I can only use it for about 6 minutes before it's too hot to the bare hand. Is this not an issue for anyone else? Am I doing something wrong?
Hi Jay, The Pax vaporizers do have a tendency to get quite warm. Try out the following: Hold your Pax closer to the mouthpiece rather than at the bottom where the oven is. Also, try holding it with your whole hand rather than your fingers to help dissipate some of that heat. Also, if you haven't done so yet, give it a good cleaning especially along the vapor path. Resin buildup can cause it to overheat a bit. If after doing the above, you find that it is still too hot to hold, please contact me here: https://www.planetofthevapes.com/pages/contact-us With best regards, Larry
I have 2 of them Love the vape
I have used the Pax 3 for pretty close to a year now. I have other portable Vapes, however, the Pax 3 is by far the best vape I’ve experienced. Dynamic lasting battery charge. Can’t beat the 10yr warranty!! I’ve been nothing short of satisfied!
I got this to have a more efficient way to vape concentrate as well as dry herb, but would've been better served getting the Dr.Dabber and getting a heating element for my Dynavap. Pax oven gets filthy very quickly particularly after using the concentrate tray. Always leaves my oven a brown sticky mess, and additionally, the plastic leg that holds the concentrate tray in place has already broken! Cleaning is a chore and I find my Pax causes me to cough like none of my other vapes. I'm past the 2-week window I believe, otherwise, I'd sooner return it.
I agree with you, Fey. If you are going to be vaping concentrates quite often, it's best to get a vape like the Dr. Dabber, which is specifically designed to do just that. ALL vapes that are specifically designed as flower vapes are a compromise at best when it comes to vaping concentrates. With that said, check out the following links that should prove helpful in regards to your Pax insert: https://www.planetofthevapes.com/blogs/blog/pax-3-concentrate-insert https://www.planetofthevapes.com/blogs/blog/pax-3-concentrate-insert-guide With best regards, Larry
I can't say enough good things about Planet of the Vapes. Great service and I bought a quality product. My only complaint is it is a full $50 more expensive on your site vs. direct with Pax. The only reason I spent the extra $50 is you will ship to my State and Pax direct will not.
