Who is the Ghost MV1 for?
The Ghost MV1 is a great vape for first adopters who prize excellent vapor and on-demand heating, but don’t mind a little learning curve. Ghost has been providing excellent support, which is to be expected with a premium vaporizer at a premium price point.
Cool, tasty vapor
The MV1’s full-convection heating produces some incredibly tasty vapor, and the heat sink cools it better than any other portable we’ve come across. The vapor is never hot or harsh.
Heating the MV1 from a cold start can take around 10 seconds, and successive draws only need around 3 seconds. That means true, on-demand heat that doesn’t cook your herbs between draws.
The MV1’s crucible system takes some getting used to, but the ability to have extras pre-loaded makes up for it some. The crucible dispenser allows you to take a whole pile without them opening up in your pocket.
Medical grade materials
Ghost only uses medical grade materials in the MV1, including a ceramic crucible with stainless steel lid, a glass mouthpiece, and a heat sink made of stainless steel with a ceramic interior sleeve.
Dry herbs and extracts
The MV1 comes with an extra crucible and lid, as well as a concentrate pad so you are ready to vaporize anything, dry or sticky.
Portable, but not pocketable
The Ghost MV1 is one of the biggest, heaviest portable vaporizers we carry. It’s easy to throw in a bag, but isn’t exactly discrete. It’s about two-thirds the size, and the same weight, as a can of soda.
With only two buttons and three lights, you’ll need to learn to speak the MV1’s language. It’s a bit of a learning curve, but the smartphone app can ease that, as well as helping you get used to the controls.
The smartphone app, available for iOS and Android gives us more flexible control, but also isn’t necessary for vaping. It lets you fine tune your temps and easily change them, as well as register your vape for an extended warranty, do some shopping, and even lock your vape so it’s a brick to those you don’t want using it.
Removable, proprietary battery
The MV1 comes with one proprietary battery pack that can be charged via micro-USB, or removed and charged in the external charger. Battery life is good, but can vary by use case. Expect between five and nine crucibles depending on how many draws you take, and the temperatures you use.
The Ghost MV1 vaporizer comes with a two year warranty on workmanship and defects, which can be extended to seven years with registration via the smartphone app. The battery is only covered for one year, but is user replaceable. Like all of our products, if you buy your Ghost MV1 from us, you are covered by our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.

Great Vaporizer, but....
I've had the Stealth model a week, and have gotten the hang of it. I have a Mighty, and bought the MV1 after such glowing reviews. IMHO, the MV1 doesn't come close to the Mighty, and here's why... 1. Vapor production. The vapor of the Mighty is consistently thicker, and will produce better results at lower temps. I use dosing capsules which hold about as much as the MV1's crucibles, and the amount of hits off the Mighty far exceed the MV1. Also, the MV1 doesn't produce well on low batteries. The Mighty keeps churning away until the battery dies. 2. Ease of use. The MV1 needs regular (daily for heavy users) cleaning, and setting the temp requires 9 button pushes to get to the temp selection choices (or use the app), the Mighty needs just 2, and cleaning is around 1 a month. 3. Flexibility. The Mighty will vape loose or packed, course or fine, moist or dry. The MV1 needs dry loosely packed to perform well. Bottom line. I'm happy with the MV1 as a 2nd vape. It gives great flavor on the first few draws, and is nice when you don't want to do a whole crucible. If I'm looking to get wasted, I'm reaching for the Mighty.
Ghost MV1 great vaporizer, except...
I've had my MV1 for several months and truly enjoyed it. The MV1 gives you a flavorful and cool draw. The learning curve you may have read about is not a big deal. Hey you're vaping while learning how tough can it be? Now for the exception. Recharging is agonizingly slow! If you have the extra money to pay for the quick charger do it, if not just keep it plugged in when not in use. This deserves to be a 4.5 to 5 star vaporizer but the slow charging drops it to a 3.5 in my opinion. With that said I would still recommend the MV1 even though the povided charging system is a bit annoying. Happy Vaping Rick
It’s Worth the Trouble
I was fortunate enough to have had my Ghost MV1 for quite some time. It is quite spectacular. When everything is right, it’s just beyond words. There are two, maybe three truly amazing hits per crucible. There’s a couple nice hits, and a couple where you ask if you got anything. When it hits right, just wow! It’s still surprising. I stare at my Ghost, I nod up and down, and I say f*** yeah. There are problems. I hate how the batteries work. They say over 100 hits, but really only 30-40 good hits. Once it drops to two bars, it’s frustrating, one bar it’s useless. Have the spare battery and the quick charger, well I’m a pretty heavy user and I always have a fresh battery at hand. It is very sensitive to cleaning. I clean the heat sink everyday, and the crucibles usually after one or two uses. This is the biggest part, the herb has to be dry! I let my stuff dry at least 24 hours in the open before I use it with the Ghost. My first 38 hours I hated it. Then the learning curve kicked in. I had the perfect pack. I had the perfect dryness. I had the perfect battery level. Everything was clean. I was able to take a 13 second draw. It was life changing! To repeat, a huge temperamental pain in the ***. I wouldn’t want it as my only vaporizer. It is my favorite out of my Dynavap, Crafty, Firefly 2, and Mighty. Sometimes I get frustrated and I put it away for a day. It’s love/hate, but again, when it works it’s, well it really is spectacular.
